We are often asked if there is a left and right rotor, or if they can be used for either side. We do machine our rotors directionally. We cut one for the left side, and one for the right side. This is done to help pinwheel the heat, gases, water, dust & debris, etc., away from the center of your breaking system. This helps keep it running cooler, cleaner and more efficiently. The easiest way to describe the correct rotation of your rotors would be to locate the upper most slot and/or row of drill holes, and make sure that it is pointing to, or sweeping towards the rear of your vehicle. We also mark the inside of each rotor with an ‘L’ for the left side or an ‘R’ for the right side. Please follow the illustration below for further clarification of the placement for both the left/driver’s side and right/passenger side of your vehicle.
